Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers Reconcile and balance accounts Generate and analyze financial statements Prepare and process payroll Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts Assist in client retention and growth opportunities Your Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent National bookkeeping and payroll certifications from the National Bookkeeping Association, or the ability to obtain them 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and generally accepted accounting principles & procedures Ability to interpret and apply instructions, policies, and regulations Maintain confidentiality with professionalism and discretion Analytical skills and attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and work independently It would be even better if you also had...
Experience with Xero accounting software This office is an independently owned franchise operating under an agreement with H&R Block. Franchisees make their own hiring decisions; questions regarding employment should be directed to the franchisee. Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, subject to local minimum wage laws. Pay depends on experience, education, skills, performance, and location.
