Identify billing trends and correct claims for reimbursement Contact payers or patients as necessary and document all collections activity Process all approved adjustments and manage patient and insurance changes Investigate claims and recommend corrective actions to eliminate future denials Ensure timely and accurate billing while meeting quality assurance standards Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent 1 to 3 years of related work experience in a team-oriented environment Experience in medical billing with understanding of ICD9, CPT4, HCPCS, and medical terminology Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with third-party payor guidelines and reimbursement practices Knowledge of copay assistance programs and foundation programs Experience processing pharmacy claims Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements Knowledge of HCN 360 and/or CPR+ We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
