As an integral member of the accounting and finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for various loan, deposit, and other reporting to Senior Management. This individual must have loan accounting experience and must have a strong working knowledge of Excel to provide analytics on these portfolios. Prepare various Bank Loan and Deposit Reports, including Deposit Change, Deposit Trend and Deposit Ranking Reports, for Senior Management. Manage and prepare the Bank’s quarterly incentive reports for management. Develop, enhance, and automate the Bank’s incentive reporting processes from excel-based reports to advanced data visualization tools such as Power Bi, Tableau, or similar platforms to improve data accessibility. Support the preparation, analysis, and distribution of internal and external financial reports in accordance with regulatory standards. Assist in drafting and reviewing financial report commentary, providing insights and context to support key performance metrics and financial trends. Prepare and analyze loan portfolio reports, including loan performance, delinquency, and risk assessment. Assist in developing and maintaining loan and deposit models for forecasting and stress testing purposes. Coordinate with CFO, CCO, and management team to retrieve historical and create prospective loan analytics to monitor loan performance. Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks within loan and deposit portfolios and provide recommendations for mitigating risks or improving performance. Prepare Call Report support schedules related to Loans, Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL) and Loan Income Prepare and analyze ALCO reports, providing key insights on balance sheet trends, liquidity, interest rate risk, and capital position to support the CFO and executive management. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management through written reports and presentations. Other ad-hoc reports requested by management.

Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions, as they apply to this position and its job responsibilities, with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA. Additional duties assigned as it relates to the position.

Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Finance, Business or related field required. 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably within the banking. Expert knowledge and skills in all aspects of Microsoft Excel (Tables, Pivot Tables, and complex calculations, etc.). Highly developed attention to detail. Well-versed in Generally Applied Accounting Principles (GAAP), Accounting Standards Codification (ASC), and Financial Accounting Standards (FAS). An analytical, working understanding of loan and bond accounting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple departments, individuals, and variables. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various business lines.
