Century Group is partnering with a client seeking a Senior Accountant. The expected starting salary ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and location.
Job Responsibilities
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
Utilize financial reporting platforms such as Toppan Merrill Bridge, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Exercise independent judgment on significant matters and adhere to hybrid work policies.
Requirements
Collaborate with the Sr. Director to manage external financial reporting including EPS, balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, and equity statements.
Prepare technical accounting memos to support management decisions and audits.
Research and document the accounting impact of complex transactions.
Ensure SOX compliance by supporting monthly control activities.
Perform journal entries related to stock compensation, revenue recognition, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications
A BA/BS degree in accounting or a related field.
4+ years of public accounting experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or Big 4 firms.
Active CPA license.
Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal controls.
Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control frameworks.
