As part of our Talent Alignment Group (TAG), the Talent Alignment Manager works closely with Managers and Partners to ensure engagements are staffed appropriately and enables our practices to leverage the right talent, on the right clients, at the right time. Our team focuses on the efficient and effective deployment of the firm\'s talent while providing opportunities for professional growth, balanced with business and client needs. What You Will Do
Schedule talent to appropriate client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and other necessary requirements Use scheduling tools to forecast hours, track utilization, monitor headcount, chargeable hours, and overtime to distribute work effectively Manage open needs by identifying solutions, anticipating conflicts, and generating alternative ideas Collaborate with engagement teams to maintain an updated scheduling system with realistic information for accurate reporting and forecasting Maintain understanding of staff skills, experiences, and career goals to ensure optimal client assignments; keep skills and interest profiles updated as required Monitor current and future needs and capacity Analyze resource data and trends around availability, utilization, actual vs scheduled variance, team leverage, and open needs Collaborate with leaders to ensure alignment with strategy and address opportunities or performance challenges Build strong relationships with client-serving personnel and other Internal Firm Services teams (e.g., Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Operations) Collaborate with peers to promote consistent firm-wide resource management practices May supervise or coach lower-level resource management staff Work effectively across multiple offices and with virtual teammates; build relationships remotely Adapt to change and act as a change agent; demonstrate a results-oriented, decisive, and impartial mindset Balance competing priorities of various stakeholders; think on your feet to problem-solve and hold people accountable with trust and respect Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment Exhibit excellent organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution 5 or more years of tax client service experience Strong technical and analytical skills, including data management and manipulation capabilities Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with exceptional Excel skills Willingness to work a schedule that exceeds 40 hours per week Moderate business travel expected Salary Transparency and Benefits

Total compensation includes salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. New York Salary Range: NY Minimum Salary (USD) $90,200 – NY Maximum Salary (USD) $154,500.
