Crowe’s Federal Tax Consulting Services practice combines cutting-edge technology with a team-based approach to deliver specialized federal tax consulting for clients ranging from middle market companies to the Fortune 500. The group is seeking a manager to lead projects in federal credits, including research and development (R&D) tax credits, fixed asset services (cost segregation studies and fixed asset outsourcing), and Green Building incentives such as Sections 179D and 45L. A successful candidate will assist leadership in expanding revenue by collaborating with practice offices on existing clients and opportunities generated through the business development team. The following skills are required. Responsibilities

Develop and execute project work plans Lead technical interviews with client personnel such as scientists and engineers Develop quantitative and qualitative documentation to support project results Identify value-added opportunities and contribute to business development Demonstrate leadership and project management in supervising client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet and exceed client expectations Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills Utilize strong data management skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx Mentor and develop staff, including on-the-job technical training and coaching Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships Demonstrate personal drive to develop self and others and provide leadership insights to the leadership team Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or accounting; MST is a plus 4+ years of public accounting experience; preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experience Experience in the described subject matter areas preferred Proficiency with building energy modeling software required for a manager focused in Green Building services Moderate travel may be required CPA or PE credential required We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
