Overview
One of my absolute favorite clients is seeking a
Senior Accountant
to join its growing team. This newly created position will play a key role in lease revenue accounting and both U.S. GAAP and international financial reporting. It’s an opportunity to build expertise in ASC 842 and IFRS while working closely with an experienced, collaborative accounting group. What You’ll Do
Take ownership of lease revenue schedules and related accounting analysis, including classification and fair value work for new investments. Support monthly close, revenue reconciliations, and quarterly reporting packages. Gain international exposure by preparing financial statements and coordinating audits for U.K. entities. Partner with external auditors, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Contribute to SOX compliance by updating process documentation and testing controls. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred) 2–4 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large firm experience with public clients) or at a large publicly traded company Solid understanding of GAAP, with exposure to ASC 842 and/or IFRS a plus Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment Seniority level
