$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr What you will do
Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Initiatives 80% of time: Execute the close process with internal business partners; prepare and post standard and complex journal entries; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate recording of prepaids and accruals; perform complex GL account reconciliations; evaluate current close processes and suggest efficiencies; prepare accounting and reconciliations for corporate GL accounts including Debt, Equity, and Derivatives; assist with the preparation, review, and validation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, equity rollforwards); prepare consolidation files and ensure data accuracy through checks, validations, and analyses; prepare monthly variance analyses for leadership; work with internal and external auditors; ensure SOX 404 controls; contribute to future system integrations; identify and resolve imbalances between financial reporting systems; build standardized reporting in Excel to streamline manual entries. Financial Reporting & Special Projects 20% of time: Assist the Financial Reporting team with SEC filings and monthly business reports; contribute to special projects to improve efficiency and accuracy; train business partners on accounting topics and methodologies. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required Experience: 3 - 5+ years of relevant accounting experience required Public Accounting Experience and Publicly Traded Company Experience Skills: Strong computer skills, especially Excel; NetSuite (or similar ERP) and Oracle Consolidations preferred; international consolidation experience beneficial; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset Why join us
