Overview

Supports servers by ensuring tables are clean, reset quickly, and service flows smoothly. Greets guests warmly and works as part of the team to maintain a welcoming, organized, and clean dining environment. Responsibilities

Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly. Keep tables, chairs, and surrounding areas clean and reset efficiently. Assist with water service and help run food when needed. Stock and maintain side stations throughout the shift. Help with table setups and support service flow, including marking tables for upcoming courses. Follow sanitation and safety guidelines, including Department of Health standards. Attend pre-shift meetings and assist with opening/closing duties. Report any broken or damaged items to management. Stay positive, helpful, and professional throughout service. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner. Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Service Standards. Communicate in English with guests and co-workers. Maintain area cleanliness and organization; ensure duties are completed (opening, running, closing) Maintain Company Safety and Sanitation Standards; clean spills and dispose trash properly. Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled times. Perform other job-related duties as assigned and inform management of complaints or incidents. Training Requirements

Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Server Assistant training Education / Working Knowledge

Previous hospitality experience. Previous Server Assistant experience. Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge. Skills / Physical Demands / Work Environment / Schedule

Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in high-volume environments. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during long shifts. Comfortable working in busy, loud, and fast-paced settings. Must be reliable, team-oriented, and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude. Must have good positive energy throughout the day. Must be able to bend, kneel, and/or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Work in environments with varying noise, crowds, and smoke depending on guest volume. Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors. May work extended hours, irregular shifts, evenings and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required. Exposure to cleaning materials. Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards. Ability to work as part of a team and interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
