$23.00/hr - $25.00/hr Kenrick Corporation provides professional management services for homeowner associations, condominiums, town homes, apartments, and office buildings. We are ranked as one of the largest Property Management Corporations by the Rochester Business Journal. Our goal is to provide superior property management services. This role is part of the finance team and focuses on maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable Help prepare financial statements and management reports Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes Support tax filing processes and regulatory reporting Qualifications and Skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel is a must 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships count) Experience with month-end close processes is a plus Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage Benefits
