Local Tax CPA firm seeking Tax Accountant candidates to fill open position. This is intended to be a
succession planning role
for a partner who will retire, who desires to train and mentor the selected candidate to take over the business in the future. Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Selected candidates will have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Tax, with CPA, or CPA eligibility with intent to obtain CPA. Selected candidate will have 3 busy seasons of experience preparing 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040 with schedules. Candidates with review experience preferred. Experience using tax software such as CCH Access, Lacerte, ProSeries, Drake, GoSystems (or any other general Tax software used by public accounting firms) preferred. Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise and Online a plus. QBO Pro Advisor a plus. This position will involve client interaction, so candidates comfortable in speaking with clients will excel in this role. Qualifications
Firm is also seeking junior tax preparers with at least 1 busy season of experience. Seniority level
