Leasing Consultant - Orlando, FL
at RangeWater Real Estate. This role focuses on marketing, leasing, and renewal activities to support occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
The Leasing Consultant executes the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.
Designs and executes offsite marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the property, including implementing resident referral and employer outreach programs, using internet marketing tools, social media and following other property-specific marketing plans and programs.
Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends that may impact the property and recommend improvements. Keep informed of changes in technology, industry standards, leasing and sales tools and processes.
Lease enforcement processes – apartment inspections, evictions, collections, notifications, and other processes as outlined in lease agreement and take appropriate action.
Follows up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize decisions to lease and/or renew. Supports lease renewal programs and ensures renewal documents are signed and implemented on time. Responds quickly and courteously to resident and owner concerns and questions, and takes prompt action to resolve issues and document requests.
Maintains safety, cleanliness, and general appearance of the property, and reports any mechanical/electrical malfunctions or injuries. Inspects show units and common areas daily to meet show-quality standards.
Resolves customer complaints and issues. Stays informed about market and competitor conditions and assists with short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Hours Schedule 40 hours in a regular work week. Typical site hours of operation (may vary by site):
Monday – Friday: 9am – 6pm
Saturday: 10am – 5pm
Sunday: 1pm – 5pm
Essential Requirements
Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled and must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied.
Works in an office environment but also have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperatures, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.

Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience Preferred: Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community.
Advanced Skills
Communication, Presentation, and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs for reporting purposes. Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, and/or One Site).
Licenses and Certificates
Licenses: Current Valid Driver's License
Certifications: None
Physical Requirements
Weights: Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
Mobility: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat. Intermittently required to sit and perform keyboard work.
Travel: Routine local travel may be required to run business-related errands including but not limited to meetings and training.
