This position is responsible for providing analytical services, utilizing business intelligence applications for decision support, and strategic health planning to the executive team, department directors, and managers. The business analyst will provide methodical assessments of hospital service lines, physician practice profiles, profitability analysis, and market share by product line. This position also works with physicians on meeting all documentation requirements and audit follow up for Income Guarantee arrangements. This position also assists in the monthly/annual general ledger closing process, reviews Joint Venture operations including A/R and cash receipts, prepares miscellaneous financial/statistical reports, and assists in the review of new asset acquisitions and fixed asset accounting as needed. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance required. CPA certification is desirable, but not mandatory. 1-3 years of experience in decision support and strategic planning capacity and cost accounting experience is desirable, as is any other practical hospital business experience. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to DHL’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
