In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. By providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, you will be working toward advancing our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will interact via our video communication tools and document interactions to maintain accurate records. Who You Are
Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and active PTIN. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. Passionate about helping clients navigate taxation and empowering them to prepare their taxes. Excellent customer service skills; comfortable interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional manner. What You Need
Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Compensation and Hours
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The pay ranges by location are as follows: Bay Area California $28.80 - $36.50; Southern California $28.80 - $36.50; Colorado $27.50 - $34.80; Hawaii $28.80 - $36.50; Illinois $27.50 - $34.80; Maryland $27.50 - $34.80; Massachusetts $28.80 - $36.50; Minnesota $24.80 - $30.30; New Jersey $28.80 - $36.50; New York $28.80 - $36.50; Ohio $24.80 - $30.30; Vermont $27.50 - $34.80; Washington $28.80 - $36.50; Washington DC $28.80 - $36.50. The position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits in accordance with applicable plans. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular pay equity assessments across categories of ethnicity and gender.
