Overview
Member Team Lead at Sam's Club Base pay range: $21.00/hr - $29.00/hr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. What you'll do
Assist management with supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, and training on processes and procedures. Provide direction on member service approaches to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved per company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicate and support membership by informing members about membership types, programs, and benefits; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events. Complete and maintain marketing documentation; strive to meet membership goals; promote the value of Sam's Club products and services. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, guiding self-service technology usage, processing transactions at registers or self-checkout, and ensuring club pick-up orders are filled. Oversee area operations by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink/damages, maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds, assisting with transportation of items, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records, process transactions, and follow office procedures; assist with cash handling and deposits; prepare financial reports; investigate discrepancies; protect confidentiality of financial and personal information. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and address improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and support compliance with policies, ethics, and integrity standards; explain and apply these in business processes; support management in addressing issues and implementing action plans. Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 6 months of retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register) and 6 months of customer service experience Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a front-end team or supervising, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workloads Location
