Actuarial Analyst - US Cyber Reinsurance at Aon. Hybrid role with the flexibility to work virtually and from the New York City office. The role focuses on Cyber reinsurance but offers opportunities to support the broader U.S. actuarial group. Responsibilities

Collaborate with brokers, analytics teams, and other stakeholders to identify client needs and develop opportunities related to products and services. Inventory and manage data related to insurance and reinsurance portfolios. Analyze cyber risk in insurance portfolios and conduct pricing analyses with limited guidance. Evaluate the costs and benefits of risk transferred under reinsurance agreements via pricing analysis and dynamic risk modeling with limited guidance. Contribute to non-standard analyses requiring collaboration across teams. Analyze cyber risk in Property and Casualty lines by integrating cybersecurity intelligence with traditional risk modeling methods, contributing to standard and non-standard analytics projects. Learn and apply traditional actuarial tools for reinsurance analysis (e.g., experience and exposure rating). Prepare client-ready presentations (PowerPoint) to communicate analysis results to brokers and clients. Research and report on trends in the evolving technology risk environment. Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry, ideally in an actuarial role. Completion of two or more actuarial exams is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in one or more of R, Python, SQL, or similar tools. Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, with awareness of client and colleague timelines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and collaboratively. Flexibility to adapt to changing timelines and approaches when data is limited. Take initiative on internal projects to improve processes, products, or services. Take ownership of quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of deliverables.
