QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Project Controller to support the Program Management Office (PMO) dedicated to Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance solutions. Prepare Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) and variance analysis [budget vs actual] Develop financial data and metrics to create annual program budgets and forecasting Monitor project actuals and forecasts to identify and support solutions to risk Monitor outstanding project commitments (e.g., travel, subcontracts) in conjunction with Accounts Payable and Accounts Billable Develop monthly project financial forecasts/EACs and conduct variance analysis Monitor the project’s burn rate against Schedule, Forecast, Milestones, and Funding Initiate and route At Risk forms for projects that are required to perform at risk Analyze project reports to identify and resolve issues Perform monthly unbilled analysis Communicate project status and findings to Project and Operations Management monthly at a minimum Provide program control support for monthly close activities including variance analysis – revenue and profit and reporting to leadership teams Support contract setup activities Contract and subcontract administration to include monitoring of funding while following the purchase requisition process Lead analysis on cost, schedule, performance, variance, and risk reporting and analysis Develop and provide monthly financial reports to program managers Partner with program managers and division leads to assist them in running their programs proactively by providing oversight on financial tracking Coordinate with program leadership and stakeholders to ensure project execution is consistent with budget plans and coordinated with program sponsors as needed Assist with multiple programs/projects by monitoring progress and quality, managing issue resolution, recommending corrective action, and developing ad-hoc client deliverables Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders, identifying drivers of business performance and areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity Consistently meet all required deadlines (contract modifications, project setup changes, accruals, at risk approvals) Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study; a degree in Management is a plus IBM TM1, Hyperion or other similar budgeting and forecasting tool Minimum of 3 years of experience performing program activities on mid-large sized federal contracts Experience managing, coordinating, and facilitating a team’s efforts effectively in multiple contract environments (Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price) Deltek Costpoint Experience Experience tracking, monitoring, reporting, standardizing, and overseeing project cost, schedule, and performance measures Experience performing financial management and reviewing work products for correctness, quality, and completeness; and follow through Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in person and via electronic mediums Ability to communicate professionally with clients, management, employees, consultants, and subcontractors Ability to read and interpret policy, regulations, and directives Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint SECRET or higher security clearance EEO/Accessibility
