Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Position Overview: This role serves as a critical link between investment operations and accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis of investment activities. The individual will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and achieving consistent, timely delivery of investment results across various reporting bases. Key Responsibilities: Prepare reconciliations related to investment activity for both US GAAP and statutory reporting. Assist the Investment Accounting team in clearing and reconciling transactions across multiple financial subledgers. Collaborate with third-party service providers and internal finance stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate recording of investment transactions in the general ledger. Monitor and substantiate investment-related suspense accounts on a monthly basis. Provide support for audit-related requests. Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Accounting or Investment Operations, with a strong background in reconciliation and general ledger processes. Solid understanding of investment accounting principles under US GAAP and statutory frameworks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Hyperion tools (FCC, Essbase), PeopleSoft, and data analysis platforms is a plus. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation. Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with Clearwater Analytics or similar investment accounting systems is preferred. Seniority level
