Responsibilities

Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals. Responsible for playing an active role in the renewal process. Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Property Manager. Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints. Responsible for proper maintenance of resident and property files. Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information. Ensure the “model” apartments and target apartments are ready for show; maintain work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner; maintain awareness of the property’s curb appeal. Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies. Keen understanding of required telephone and sales techniques. Knowledgeable of current market conditions and ability to complete market updates by shopping competitive properties. Maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader’s requirements. Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of the property. Participate in the marketing of the property as directed. Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times. Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules. Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development. Any other duties the Property Manager feels may fall into the Leasing Consultant’s job description. Benefits for Part-time Employees

$22 per hour Qualifications

Experience in leasing or property management preferred Strong knowledge of lease terms and policies Effective communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Awareness of market conditions and ability to update properties accordingly Commitment to safety and Fair Housing compliance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bader by 2x.
