Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with additional hours as needed. Function:
Performs set up, tracking, and other functions for residential real estate mortgage loan applications to assist mortgage processing of loan files in accordance with S&T Bank and investor guidelines and state and regulatory compliance requirements. Duties And Responsibilities: Review residential mortgage applications upon intake and accurately prepare file for processing. Completes checklists to ensure all steps are completed for each task. Assembles a loan file by uploading the applicable documents to get the file ready for processing. Prints a copy of the work loan application and file checklist for the shadow file. Completes dates in the processing tracking screen. Orders various third-party verifications as requested by the processor. Performs calls externally to vendors and employers for written and verbal verifications of employment. Completes general ledger entries for initial fees. Issues refunds as necessary via the electronic invoicing application. Maintains and enhances good working relationships with S&T Bank employees, demonstrating the ability to effectively work independently and as a team player. Performs additional duties as required, including administrative assistance to support the functions of the Retail Mortgage Processing Department. Education:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education. Experience:
Two to five years of general experience required, with specialized mortgage experience preferred but not required. Physical Demands:
Operates a keypad device: 60% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 20% of the day. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for both typing and filing on a frequent basis up to 60% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18”-20” for a period of up to 40% of the business day.
