Tier 3 Network Engineer - MSP

This role involves troubleshooting advanced networking issues, designing and implementing network solutions, and collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities: Oversee the core and edge network infrastructure, including switching and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPLS, RSTP, and MSTP. Assist in planning, developing, deploying, and maintaining wireless links and access points. Support in network expansion and upgrade projects. Collaborate with the sales department to provide technical solutions for commercial projects. Coordinate and register FCC-licensed links with our coordination vendor. Continuously monitor the network for anomalies, and diagnose and resolve layer 2 and 3 issues. Regularly report to the General Manager on the health of the network. Provide recommendations on infrastructure upgrades, alternative technologies, and deliver cost/benefit analysis reports Must-Haves: Strong background in wireless networking and experience with link planning. Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. Hands-on experience engineering tunnels with VPLS. Advanced skills in diagnostics troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues. Salary: $30-50/hour
