We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. This role serves as a liaison between business units and the IT department, ensuring that software applications meet operational needs and are effectively implemented. We are looking for someone to help launch a fully digital, self-service account-opening experience for small-business loans (SBA and unsecured LOC) for the company's website and the mobile app.
Primary Responsibilities Run working sessions with product owners, UX, architects, and dev teams; turn discussions into crisp epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Bridge business-lending rules with solution architects (AFS Vision core, Encino origination, ancillary services) and UX designers; ensure feasibility and regulatory fit. Groom, prioritize, and re-prioritize stories; defend scope and explain trade-offs in sprint planning. Partner with dedicated QA to craft scenarios, validate stories as they hit, and surface defects quickly. Translate between corporate-banking SMEs, UX, and engineering; guide meetings, keep risks visible, and drive decisions to closure. Required Skills: High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of related experience Or Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of related experience Deep lending life-cycle knowledge At least one of: commercial/small-business term loans, lines of credit, SBA lending. Hands-on Business Systems Analysis (8–10 yrs) in Agile/Scrum shops. Requirements & story writing that development AND QA can pick up without re-work. Experience integrating KYC/AML or digital identity verification flows. Exposure to digital account-opening or retail-banking customer journeys. Prior work with Salesforce (Encino layer), REST/JSON APIs, or service-layer orchestration. Bonus Skills AFS Vision (core loan servicing) nCino (loan origination) Loan IQ (good signal for lending depth) Knowledge of MuleSoft, APIs, and integration payloads
