R25092863**Summary****Job Description:**Endoscopy Tech40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, DayshiftThe Endoscopy Technician, working under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, is responsible for preparing exam rooms, assisting during endoscopy procedures, and cleaning equipment. This role requires technical proficiency with instruments and knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting processes. The technician provides basic physical care by assisting patients with lifting, turning, and ambulation, while communicating patient needs to nursing staff. Maintaining a safe and clean environment is essential, including practicing universal precautions, performing daily refrigerator temperature checks, keeping equipment like blanket warmers stocked, and cleaning stretchers after use. The technician also demonstrates accountability by greeting patients and visitors, answering inquiries, coordinating with other departments, and effectively communicating within the team.
