Overview
Job Summary:
The Account Manager supports the producer in the development and service of accounts. Provide clients with exceptional service during the policy year; assure successful renewal marketing. Demonstrate support of agency business objectives and viewed as a positive role model and team player. Marketing of new and renewal business is a significant aspect of the day-to-day duties of this role. Responsibilities
Market new business as assigned by producer Review and analyze information provided by producer; secure additional information from client/prospect when necessary; independently make recommendations regarding coverages and exposures; prepare applications in accordance with the agency's automation standards; submit information to carriers and independently negotiate placement. Work independently of Producers on placement of risk Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients/carriers through the daily service of endorsements and general coverage questions Use independent judgement to conceptualize solutions for client need Qualifications
Strong organizational, multitask, motivational, problem solving, detail oriented, verbal, written, and self-discipline skills Proficient in insurance agency management software (EPIC) and Microsoft products Education & Experience
Florida 2-20 or insurance license is required College degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years agency experience in designated field Equal Employment Opportunity
