Overview
Anistar Technologies is seeking an Access Control Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems. This role supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting electronic security equipment including intrusion detection, access control, and closed circuit television devices. Responsibilities
Perform service/installation of security management solutions including access control, intrusion alarm, CCTV systems, and other security-related systems. Readiness to install, configure, and test equipment until the final product is complete. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, re-configure, and test equipment and devices; perform repairs as necessary. Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability. Perform computer program entry as required to add CCTV cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems. Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects/work orders efficiently. Read and understand drawings and prints to install the correct equipment in the correct locations. Terminate equipment and field devices while completing and verifying operation from the field to the reporting systems. Lead the team and delegate tasks as needed; demonstrate proper techniques. Be willing to do what is required to complete the task on any given day. Qualifications
Must be able to read technical documents, drawings, and prints. Must have good communication skills and the ability to think on their feet in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment. Must have experience with IP-based systems. Working knowledge of Software House, Open Options, and Lenel is a plus. About Us
