Loyal Source is looking for a Security Install Technician for an employment opportunity in Houston, Texas.
About the Role : In this role, you will be critical to the Technical Services division, primarily handling the installation of commercial alarm, CCTV, and card access systems, with minimal supervision. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, organizing resources efficiently, and ensuring the completion of installations and upgrades as per industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems.
Proctor, coach, and teach others.
Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.
Conduct customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
Perform system testing and signal verification.
Maintain necessary truck stock / inventory (equipment and tools).
Execute new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support for efficient task execution.
Monitor and ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
Exhibit a strong work ethic.
Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach.
Complete other projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of High School Diploma / Vocational Training.
Three or more years of experience.
Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
Working knowledge of local / national codes.
Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening and background check.
Possess Texas Alarm License.
Working knowledge of Brivo access control, DMP alarm panel, and Hanwha Cameras.
Lift certification required
OSHA 10 certification a plus
