Summary
As a Sr. Systems Technician - Commercial Install, you will be tasked with installing complex security systems in commercial customer settings. You will work closely with our outside sales team to ensure our customers receive the highest level of professional care from start to finish. What You'll Do
Install commercial solutions, including wired and wireless systems. Actively participate in company initiatives, such as securing new referrals and upselling, while providing exceptional customer service. Install, program, and configure commercial electronic security and fire alarm systems for commercial clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low voltage communication. Troubleshoot new installations to ensure systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes. Troubleshoot and diagnose existing fire alarm systems as needed. Drive to client sites to perform system installations and confirm systems are operating effectively and meet contract requirements. Run low voltage electrical wiring and related activities, including drilling and conduit installation. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operation/product manuals. Perform inspections and service on electronic fire systems. What You'll Need
HS Diploma Minimum of 2 years of life safety and home automation equipment experience 3-5 years of field experience or equivalent education or certification Valid Driver's License Commercial experience Access Control & CCTV experience NICET I certification (preferred) Strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and organized Proficient in company skills and best practices What You'll Get
