Valiant Integrated Services . Valiant Integrated Services is seeking an experienced Network Technician II for the Army at the Mission Training Complex (MTC) at JBLM, Washington. This is a full-time position. The Network Technician II designs, configures, and maintains LAN and WAN circuits using Cisco networking equipment to support enclaves of Microsoft and Linux servers which use artificial intelligence to create simulations for Army battlefield information systems. The successful candidate is fluent in Cisco command line interface for configuration and implementation of various network devices, including routers, switches and call managers. The candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills to work as a member of a team of networking professionals. Responsibilities
Design and engineer communications and computer networks to transmit data using Cisco products and hardware encryption devices. Network support includes LAN/WAN circuit connections, local VLAN management, route management using dynamic routing protocols, and VoIP support using Cisco Unified Call Manager.
Provide knowledge and support for Fiber networks and ASA Firewalls for exercises and events.
Provide dedicated LAN/WAN/VTC/VOIP technical support at Mission Training Complex facilities and ensure NIST RMF 2.0 compliance.
Integrate computer systems, servers, secure and non-secure voice, video, and data circuits using public, private, and multicast IPs.
Provide technical integration solutions and recommendations for exercises and events, including networks and computer systems layout and setups for Mission Command Systems/Simulations Integration.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$70,000 - $80,000

Qualifications
Must possess an Information Assurance Technical II (IAT II) baseline certificate in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
Must possess a Secret clearance.
Achieve computing environment (CE) certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNA-Security, CCNP, etc.) within 6 months of employment.
Experience in troubleshooting and supporting Cisco hardware.
Experience with ASA Firewalls.
Technical knowledge/experience in Cisco router/switch topologies.
Travel is limited to no more than 25% to areas supported by the Mission Training Complex.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity and/or Information Assurance, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in Networking.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on networking equipment; ability to stand for extended periods. May be required to lift up to 30-40 pounds.
Work in both building and outdoor environments; outdoor environments may involve inclement weather, carrying equipment over uneven terrain, and maneuvering equipment in tight spaces.
