TEKsystems has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer to administer and support their global data communications network. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing network systems, ensuring all designs are documented and supportable. As the network expert, you will handle engineering, configuration, deployment, and maintenance across various technologies, including Azure, Campus, Plant LAN, Wireless, WAN/SD-WAN, and Datacenter LAN. You will troubleshoot complex network issues, communicate maintenance and downtime, and develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans. In this position you\'ll work a hybrid schedule either 2 days onsite at the corporate office in Mason, Michigan and 3 days remote or vice versa. Responsibilities

Analyze network needs and contribute to design and installation Lead project implementations, ensure security compliance, and monitor network performance Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans Troubleshoot complex network issues and communicate maintenance and downtime Provide engineering, configuration, deployment, and maintenance across Azure, Campus, Plant LAN, Wireless, WAN/SD-WAN, and Datacenter LAN Qualifications

Experience with OSPF, EIGRP, Spanning Tree, BGP Experience and knowledge in two or more of: Cloud (Azure, AWS) networking; Routing and Switching; Security (Firewalls, Proxy); Wireless; Data Center; Video/Voice; SD-WAN Experience implementing and operating a security architecture that secures all corporate enterprise network edges Experience creating and maintaining network topology, logical flow and documentation with Visio or equivalent Strong understanding of network QoS methods and mitigation strategies Experience with network sniffers and analyzing network performance data to identify trends and recommend upgrades Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Occasional travel to secondary data center in Grand Rapids Nice-to-have (Top Skills)

6+ years of Network Engineering experience (Cisco) Data Center experience: Core Route/Switching (BGP + OSPF) SD-WAN experience: Upgrading to version 3.4 Willing to travel to Grand Rapids for occasional maintenance (2-3 times per quarter, more with refreshes) Cisco ACI, Opengear Out of Band Management, Wireless Networking, Azure experience, Cisco Firepower, Zscaler Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
