Established yet growing company hiring Lawn Technician to provide great service in our companies' fastest growing department. We will train the right candidate to be proficient in lawn treatment applications, diagnosis, excellent customer service, and sales. The opportunity offers a hourly rate plus commission for sales made. Working regular business hours of M - F, 7:30am - 5:00 pm. Job Responsibilities: 1.
Lawn Treatment: - Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other treatments to lawns. - Identify lawn diseases, weeds, and pest issues, and provide appropriate treatment solutions. 2.
Customer Service: - Interact with customers to understand their lawn needs and provide expert advice. - Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction with services provided. 3.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: - Safely operate and maintain lawn equipment, including tanks, hose, sprayers and back sprayers. - Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in good working order. 4.
Documentation: - Keep accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions. - Provide reports as required by management. 5.
Safety and Compliance: - Follow all company safety protocols and regulations. - Follow the chemical labels. ** The Label is the LAW! ** - Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding the application of lawn products. Qualifications: 1.
Experience: - Previous experience in lawn treatment, or a related field is preferred. - Knowledge of lawn products and their proper application. 2.
Skills: - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify lawn issues. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 3.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. - Capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials, bending, pulling a hose and standing for extended periods. 4.
