IT Support Specialist Job Brief

We are looking for a dedicated, service-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide top-notch technical assistance to our client's staff and volunteers. The role requires the ability to diagnose, identify, research, and troubleshoot a variety of issues. Preferred candidate is a courteous and professional individual who can provide patient and efficient assistance pertaining to software, hardware, networking, and printing for all end-users. As an IT Support Specialist you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing services over the phone, email, in-person, and with remote troubleshooting tools. Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for end-users. Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and log support tickets in a timely manner. Set up new computers, install necessary software, and ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure. Assist with creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts in Google Workspace and other organizational platforms. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate staff or third‑party vendor. Maintain accurate records of issues reported and solutions provided in the IT ticketing system. Assist users with common software applications, email systems, and other company‑specific programs. Troubleshoot all IT‑deployed peripheral devices. Track and manage IT equipment inventory, ensuring proper usage and lifecycle management. Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CS, MIS or at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Solid foundational knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems. Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills. In‑depth knowledge of IT ticketing systems and processes. Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users. Benefits
