Our vision is to be the UK’s number one provider of secure, integrated cloud services to the small to mid-size market. About The Role
We are seeking a client-focused and highly skilled Technical Delivery Engineer specialising in Connectivity Support. You will act as a technical authority for the ongoing operational health, optimisation, security, and reliability of key client network infrastructure. This role demands deep involvement and hands-on client engagement within live managed network environments, ensuring the stability and performance of critical connectivity services built on technologies from Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiEMS), Palo Alto Networks (NGFW), and Juniper (SRX, ACX) working alongside our managed services offerings in Cloud, UC and Cyber Security. You'll be part of our passionate and supportive Operational Delivery team focussed on solving problems, leading on critical incidents, and continuously developing skills in a dynamic environment. Leveraging deep networking expertise, you will ensure network resilience, lead the resolution of complex connectivity issues, and proactively guide clients towards robust, secure, and efficient network solutions. Deep hands-on expertise managing, troubleshooting, and optimising Fortinet based platforms (FortiGate NGFW, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer experience essential) and managing SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet SD-WAN highly preferred). Strong hands-on expertise managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks NGFW. Demonstrable experience managing and troubleshooting Juniper SRX devices. Strong theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience with dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP. Expertise in VPN technologies, including complex IPsec site-to-site configurations and remote access SSL VPN solutions. Beneficial: Juniper (JNCIS-SEC/JNCIP-SEC), Cisco (CCNP Security/Enterprise or equivalent), Check Point (CCSA/CCSE), CompTIA Security+, ISC² SSCP/CISSP, or GIAC certifications. Knowledge and practical experience with Fortinet SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions. Understanding and practical knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTNA) principles as applied to networking. Experience implementing or managing Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for network device deployment. Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible) or scripting languages (e.g., Python) for repeatable network tasks.
