Sr. Network Support Engineer-Secret Clearance required
Telos Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Support Engineer to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) – Increment 1 (INC1) program in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The successful candidate will operate and maintain secure network solutions, partner with stakeholders, analyze and understand secure wide area connectivity, and support secure access solutions. Primary Responsibilities
Operate and maintain secure network solutions for the US Army. Partner with stakeholders to perform legacy environment discovery and assess current capabilities. Analyze and understand secure wide area connectivity. Support secure access solutions leveraging zero trust network access (ZTNA). Integrate capacity planning and scaling of network and security stack environments. Collect, investigate, and identify network optimization strategies. Work with information assurance teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years' experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED Network certification (CCNA or comparable vendor certification). Active DoD IAT Level II (Security+) certification or equivalent. Experience with patching, upgrading, and lifecycle refresh of network devices. Demonstrated experience with networking concepts and protocols. Experience with enterprise network management tools (e.g., Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco Prime). Experience with system hardening of network infrastructure (DoD STIG implementation). Experience with vendor network technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Dell, AppGate). Experience with protocols (SFTP, SSH, SCP, SNMP, NTP). Preferred Qualifications
Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent. Experience with virtualized network devices and infrastructure. Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN and Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls. Knowledge of NetSecOps technologies (git, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform). Expertise in design and improvement of complex enterprise networks. Expert knowledge of US Army security requirements for network infrastructure.
