Georgia Tech is seeking a temporary Technical/ParaPro in Facilities-Utilities & Energy. This position provides professional services in support of unit management in the field as specified in the job posting, with duties determined by assignment and unit needs. The role interacts with unit management and staff, and may advise and counsel, with supervision not applicable to this position. Responsibilities

Perform duties related to the professional field assignment. Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field. Provide input to department policies and procedures. May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets. May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Required Qualifications:

Ability to pass a drug/alcohol pre-screening; may require working with dangerous materials and in environments such as around rotating machinery, live electrical circuits, hazardous materials, high-pressure liquids and gas, and bot surfaces. May require lifting up to 75 pounds, working in confined spaces, noisy environments, and elevated locations (e.g., ladders, scaffolding). Adverse weather may require extensive after-hours work or callbacks. Some evenings and peak times; participation in an on-duty rotation; full-face respirator may be required per campus policies. Required Experience:

Up to two years of job-related experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
