Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal
to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial, with a strong understanding of plaintiff-side litigation processes. Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial client intake and gather relevant information related to the case Manage a high volume of pre-litigation and/or litigation personal injury cases Draft and file legal documents including complaints, discovery, subpoenas, medical records requests, and settlement demands Maintain and organize case files in accordance with firm procedures Review and summarize medical records, bills, and insurance documents Coordinate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel Assist attorneys with case preparation for mediations, depositions, and trials Calendar deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on all case-related matters Negotiate and resolve medical liens under attorney supervision Maintain communication with clients to provide case updates and support Qualifications
Minimum [2-5] years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law (plaintiff side) Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Clio, TrialWorks, Needles, or similar case management systems) Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing deadlines Seniority level
