About You We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our Colliers IT Team. This position will be responsible for working alongside the End User Computing and Infrastructure teams with the common goal of supporting the technology needs of dedicated customers and repairing services as quickly as possible for three offices in the New York Tri-State area. In this role, you will… Provide desk side support for hands on issues Perform Board-Room presentation setups Replace failed phones, printers, network cables Replace failed hardware on desktop and laptop computers Image laptops, desktops, and workstations Order/Setup/Provisioning of New Hire equipment Decommissioning of old hardware Coordinate office/cubicle setup and moves Installation and configuration of network printers Assist with company-based software/hardware deployments Assist in LAN/WAN operations, including hardware install, support, documentation Familiarity with remote desktop support tools Respond to requests and incidents by phone, email, support queue, on-site visits, or remote-control sessions Resolve incidents and service requests within the required SLA Perform problem resolution research and document solutions Escalate out of scope or unresolved tickets to appropriate IT personnel Monitor and implement company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance is met Operational knowledge of networking, telephone, and infrastructure concepts Must be able to travel to nearby sites in Long Island, Stamford, CT to provide IT Support What Success Looks Like Must be able to work independently and in groups on IT initiated projects as required Coordinate office needs with Regional IT Manager and/or local office managers Participate in technology implementations, both corporate wide and business-unit based 3+ Years of experience in an IT support environment Experience supporting Windows /MacOS operating systems Advanced software and hardware technical skills A+ Certification & ITIL Foundations Certification Possess a strong self-starter attitude Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners Benefits Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term/long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Bonus This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance. For Hourly Roles Pursuant to state/local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information.
