$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from NOVAIR USA Novair-USA is looking for a full-time Assistant Controller. The Assistant Controller will support the Senior Controller in managing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves preparing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the strategic financial planning process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. Roles and Responsibilities Under the direction of the NOVAIR USA Senior Controller: Financial Reporting and Analysis Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Accounting Operations Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and maintenance of accurate financial records. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes and detailed reporting templates. Internal Controls and Compliance Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements. Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed. Team Collaboration and Leadership Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and decision-making. Support the Senior Controller in strategic planning and budgeting activities. Qualifications - The Skills You Bring Education Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (required). 3–5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Experience in manufacturing accounting. · Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Knowledge of SAP a plus. Total Rewards Competitive salary based on experience.
