Responsible for the collaboration with other Facilities staff in managing the day-to-day building operation of a building or group of buildings. Performs specialized, diverse work activities and coordinates solutions, supporting the operations, maintenance, repair, upkeep, inventory tracking, and refurbishing activities related to the physical environment and building systems. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions
Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs. Managing and directing cleaning and security staff and activities. Preparing and carrying out emergency protocols and procedures. Maintaining a safe environment for building occupants and visitors. Preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets. Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers. Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports. Ensuring facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building codes. Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s Degree Business Management preferred or Bachelor’s Degree Related Field of Study preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Real Estate/Building Maintenance Experience 3-5 years required and Supervisory/Management Experience 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Knowledgeable in real estate/building management and associated processes. – Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and building codes. – Excellent project management and negotiation skills. – Good communication and customer service skills. – Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
