Lonestar Forklift is looking for a detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to join our team in
Garland, Texas . In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, working closely with a growing Finance team. Responsibilities
Regularly update cash spreadsheets and report on daily cash balances Prepare account reconciliations and month end adjusting journal entries Prepare monthly and quarterly tax filings Assist in AR and AP department oversight Enter manual checks into ERP daily to record cash outflows Upload files to banking sites and liaise with banking institutions to ensure checks have cleared Research and resolve any banking transaction issues Initiate wire transfers; verify wiring instructions with new vendors Initiate and book monthly rent payments Prepare financial statements for quarterly and annual audits Support with annual budgeting process Required Skills & Qualifications
Post-secondary education in a related field such as business, finance or accounting CPA designation (or in process of obtaining) At least five years of accounting work experience, preferably in inventory accounting Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience using an ERP system Strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Benefits
