About The Role We are hiring a high‑impact Accounting Manager to join our team at Integra. This pivotal role reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day accounting operations for our rapidly growing DTC beauty brand. You will lead and mentor two direct reports while overseeing the general ledger, ensuring GAAP compliance, and driving the efficiency and accuracy of our month‑end close. We need a hands‑on leader who can collaborate across departments and thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Financial Operations & Reporting
Manage and execute the full‑cycle month‑end and year‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows) in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Maintain the general ledger, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis (actual vs. budget/prior periods)
Oversee and reconcile all DTC revenue streams, including complex revenue recognition considerations related to sales, discounts, refunds, and loyalty programs across platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon)
Manage the accounting for physical inventory, including cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, reserve calculations (e.g., obsolete or slow‑moving inventory), and reconciling physical counts to the GL
Maintain the fixed asset ledger, manage capitalization policies, and calculate monthly depreciation/amortization
Manage and develop two direct reports (AP/AR Specialists) to ensure the efficient execution of daily accounting tasks
Continuously review, implement, and document internal accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Partner closely with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to track expenses, analyze campaign performance, and ensure accurate financial classification of transactions
Compliance, Audit, & Tax
Ensure strict adherence to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all financial reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing required schedules, documentation, and addressing audit inquiries
Assist the Controller in preparing required schedules for income tax filings, sales and use tax, and property tax filings across various jurisdictions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or senior supervisory role
Strong preference for experience in a DTC, e‑commerce, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment, specifically dealing with inventory, COGS, and high‑volume transaction processing
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) and hands‑on experience with a major ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information and effectively manage and develop a team
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable financial data
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines (especially the month‑end close), and perform effectively under pressure
Proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and process inefficiencies
Comfort working with various integrated systems common in DTC, such as Shopify, payment processors (Bill.com, PayPal), and inventory management software
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: CPA license is highly preferred
