Accounting Clerk II
to join our team onsite at
Naval Air Station Patuxent River
in Lexington Park, MD. Responsibilities
Provide daily property management support, responding to inquiries, attending meetings, and ensuring cradle-to-grave asset accountability. Prepare and verify inventory count sheets, including logging and ensuring the accuracy of count data. Update and maintain fixed asset records, adding new assets and updating documentation in
Navy ERP
and spreadsheets. Assist in asset disposal processes, including coordination with custodians, warehouse support, and Defense Logistics Agency documentation. Maintain and update Navy ERP records, attaching required forms, modifying status codes, and tracking asset data changes. Support clean-up initiatives, organizing and updating system information for improved accuracy. Process custodian check-outs and maintain updates in tracking spreadsheets. Position Requirements
US Citizen. Ability to pass background check and Investigation for Public Trust Clearance. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years of Customer Service Experience. Experience using
Navy ERP. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). Ability to work until 5:00 PM. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as a team. Must possess strong time management skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Position located in NAS Patuxent River, MD.
