Position Currently, we are searching for a full-time Collections Manager to work at one of our apartment communities in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities
Collection, Receipting, and recording of all rents and any other payments
Monitoring property delinquency
Weekly notes on all delinquent accounts
Work with tenants on rental balances
Issuing pay or quit notices (5-day notices)
File any unlawful detainers with the attorney
Communicate with property attorney on delinquent accounts
Attend court with the attorney for unlawful detainers for money owed to the property
Place all court documents and notices in tenant files
Provide reports as required
Other tasks as may be assigned
Qualifications
Property Management Experience
Leasing Experience
Tax Credit Experience is a plus
Must be familiar with Word and Excel documents
Must have good customer services skills
Must pass a criminal and drug screening
