Overview
Broward Health Medical Center Shift: Shift 1 FTE: 0.900000 Summary: In consultation with under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the lactation technician provides breastfeeding education, support, and assistance to families regarding treatment and care of patients. Additionally, the lactation technician will assist nursing staff in the delivery of patient care in complex, multiple problem breastfeeding situations to assist the mother in attaining her individual breastfeeding goals. Education : Essential — High School Diploma or GED Experience : Essential —
Two Years of related experience required Credentials : Essential —
Certified Lactation Consultant ;
