This position will be the route/courier person for the MVRDL in the Jackson metro area. Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year. This position will drive to different veterinary practices in the Jackson metro area on scheduled routes to pick up clinical specimens and delivering them to the MVRDL. The individual will drive Mississippi State University fleet vehicles. Minimum Qualifications

Valid driver\'s license Good driving record Familiarity with GPS Strong time management Strong customer service skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent telephone and email communication skills, especially related to client service Must be capable of working in a team environment comprised of doctors, staff, and students to provide veterinary care of patients and aid in the instruction of veterinary students and veterinary technology students Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands. Job requires standing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. How to Apply
