Responsibilities Receives and reviews patient OASIS assessments for assigned care centers. Reviews OASIS patient status items compared to other related patient documentation to verify completeness and accuracy. Assists in evaluating needs of the patient and suggests referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the patient's needs. Identifies need for OASIS/documentation education and communicates group needs to care center leadership and supervisor. Communicates any delays in processing assessments to supervisor and care center. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current unencumbered license to practice as an RN. One year ICD-9 or ICD-10 coding and OASIS experience. HCSD or BCHH-C ICD-10 certification. OASIS (COS-C/HCS-O) certification. Amedisys is an equal opportunity employer.
