Lecturer, United States History/Experiential Learning Coordinator at Inside Higher Ed. Job No: 535181. Work Type: Full Time. Location: Main Campus (Gainesville, FL). Responsibilities
Teach United States History courses, including large lecture surveys, and upper-division courses in the candidate's regional or thematic specialization. Typically five courses per year (3-2 or 2-3). Experiential Learning Coordinator responsibilities: serve as department liaison to Beyond120 experiential learning program and prepare an annual report on department activities; serve as point of contact for History majors interested in experiential learning opportunities; assist History department faculty in developing opportunities for undergraduates; work with the Department Chair and History Department Advisory Board to cultivate alumni-student connections. Coordinate the department's implementation of the University of Florida's Quest 3 experiential learning requirement and assist the Associate Chair in planning of Quest 1 or Quest 2 offerings. Collaborate with on-campus programs such as Beyond120, Center for Humanities in the Public Sphere, Career Connections Center, and Brown Center for Leadership and Service. Appointment Details

Minimum: Ph.D. in History or a related field by August 15, 2025. Preferred Qualifications: None. Application Process
