Location: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Hoboken, Houston, Iselin, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, Washington

The opportunity in this area includes working on high-visibility projects as tax regulations and technologies evolve, helping clients optimize tax processes and data management.
Your Key Responsibilities Help client tax departments operate at peak efficiency and position them to leverage tax-saving opportunities. Transfer control of tax decision-making to in-house tax specialists. Define solutions, coordinate resources, and deliver products that meet client goals and tax requirements, including:
Lead a team, mentor counselees, and manage client-serving engagements
Document and review current-state tax processes and controls to identify improvements
Support development of business cases for tax process enhancements
Support indirect tax software/vendor selection processes
Document tax data requirements
Implement automated indirect tax calculation and compliance solutions
Develop data analytics solutions focused on indirect tax
Support global digital tax reporting implementations
To qualify for this role, you must have
Undergraduate emphasis in accounting with approximately 6 years of related work experience in indirect tax process improvement, or a master’s degree with ~4 years of related experience
Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to state Bar or progress toward attaining those
Indirect tax experience (Sales/Use Tax, VAT) and/or corporate indirect tax compliance experience
Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
Relevant experience in indirect tax software or ERP/procurement systems (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara; SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa)
Experience with tax process and operational assessments
