We’re looking for a talented
Publications Designer
to join a passionate team of creatives, editors, and book lovers. If beautifully designed pages, eye-catching covers, and the art of visual storytelling light you up, you’ll feel right at home here. What You’ll Do: You’ll be at the heart of our publishing process, designing everything from book interiors and covers to marketing collateral and digital assets. Whether it’s a thought-provoking nonfiction book, a graphic novel, or a sleek catalog, you’ll craft visuals that tell stories and spark curiosity. Your day-to-day will include: Designing and typesetting beautiful book interiors and covers (hardcovers, paperbacks, jackets, etc.) Creating polished layouts with photos, charts, tables, and graphics Prepping files for print and digital release Editing images and illustrations to perfection Developing mood boards and setting the visual tone for projects Collaborating with editorial, marketing, and production to keep things on time and on point Pitching ideas and contributing to visual strategy for new and ongoing projects Working on special editions like corporate gifts, graphic novels, and illustrated titles Qualifications: 3+ years of professional design experience, including at least 1 year in book layout/design Degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) on Mac Experience in print and digital production Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines with ease Strong communication and collaboration This is a full time role, onsite in the greater Greenfield, MA area.
