Position Overview Shaw Industries is seeking to hire a Heatset Reliability Tech B for C Shift, 7pm-7am, to play an important role in our operations.

Responsibilities
Execute assigned tasks with a focus on safe work practices, high-quality and precise work, and customer service in support of "Great Products & Service".
Adhere to standards and best practices acquired through training and experience.
Enhance knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment performance, understanding their impact on manufacturing and business objectives.
Provide feedback on job needs and improvement opportunities to peers and leadership.
Maintain manufacturing and support equipment at high performance levels, including mechanical systems such as bearings, pulleys, shafts, couplings, sprockets, chains, belts, motors, and gearboxes.
Support conveyance systems and utilities like steam, water, air, and electricity, including pumps and piping.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment affecting safety, quality, and productivity, communicating findings and corrective steps.
Implement proactive maintenance plans, including preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities.
Support project and process improvement work orders and mentor junior reliability technicians.
Requirements
Knowledge of safety practices such as LOTO, Confined Space, PPE, Hot Work, PIT, Fall Protection, Hoisting & Rigging.
Proficiency with work order documentation, parts requisitioning, and measurement tools.
Strong math skills, including arithmetic and formula applications.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Skill in tool selection, lubrication scheduling, power transmission, plumbing, and precision alignment.
Basic fabrication skills, welding, cutting techniques, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.

Work Shift 12-hour rotating shift, starting in the evening, with days changing only. The shift schedule is based on the calendar and includes PM shifts.
