Network Operations Center (NOC) Administrator
We are looking for a dedicated professional to join Leidos’ Enterprise and Cyber Solutions (E…) Operation within the Defense Group. The CESO program, led by the Defense Information System Agency (DISA), will transform the Secure Web Services (SWS) environment into a more mature, cloud‑based service offering. As NOC Administrator, you will provide coverage, monitor tools, and ensure availability of the CESO NOC.
This role will manage the commercial cloud migration and disestablishment of legacy systems, fully automate the continuous development & continuous integration environment, consolidate fourth estate, professionalize services with ITIL/DevSecOps processes, improve the customer experience through first call resolution, and develop a service catalog for the Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) Model.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor the network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
Proactively identify risks in the network and develop a plan to mitigate them.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.
Review user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on performance and provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach.
Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
Basic Qualifications
BS in computer science or IT and 8-12 years of experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
Active DoD TS/SCI level security clearance and eligibility to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, available shifts include 0600-1400 and 1200-2000.
Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems.
Experience in configuring Cisco switches and routers, dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), spanning tree, 802.1x, troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnel connections, VLAN configurations, network troubleshooting, basic firewall and ISE/TACACS troubleshooting, and AWS Cloud service.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with DISA and the mission partners supported by DISA.
TS/SCI with CI Poly preferred.
